When you grow up you are hardly expected to negotiate, with parents or in the school system. However, once you start working you are supposed to act as a professional presenter and negotiator in all kinds of situations. More specific, up to now you are expected to know the answer to a question. However, for a successful outcome a negotiator needs to prepare the right question for any given situation.
This unique course offers to bridge the gap with the knowledge, language and skills in order to act like a pro. Experts, engineers, marketeers, project managers, and business leaders, all need an effective negotiation style in their daily life.
Discover in this course what your favorite style is. And how to recognise the negotiation style of others. You will learn negotiation concepts, practice skills and gain insight by interacting with other participants. The course is English spoken. Today, knowing your way in English will give you a leading edge when acting in teams with diverse cultural backgrounds.
Usually, a course in negotiation is not part of a curriculum in higher education. Let limited capability of the English language, or even timidness not be a dealbreaker for you to enter this course. English is, after all, only a means to an end. Just as the language you grew up with has brought you to this day.
Please be aware that after the start of the course no entry is allowed.
The course will mainly be live at OTH (14 and 21 of April 2026; 9 and 16 of June). For the start (31 of March 2026) and in between (19 of May 2026) online sessions are planned.
